The Super Bowl Champion New York Giants will kick off the 2012 NFL Regular Season on WEDNESDAY September 5th
The game has been scheduled for Wednesday in order to accommodate the final day of the Democratic National Convention. As far as I can tell, it will be the first NFL game to ever be played on Hump Day.
As for you they’ll square off against, there are several options, but I would put my money on it being a Divisional Playoff rematch with the 2010 Champs, the Green Bay Packers.
